Vitamins

Does anyone get sick while taking vitamins or supplements? The only vitamin I can stomach is a Flintstones chewable. I've tried OneADay and Centrum. I've also tried store brands but never had any luck. So now I am just sticking to a Flintstones vitamin. Figured it was better than nothing at all. I also take 600mg of Calcium. I haven't even began to take it twice a day yet cause the first done makes me want to vomit. I've tried with food, I've tried it at night. What is it with me and vitamins.

I always got sick when taking vitamins, especially in the morning, which is the only time I remember to take them. My husband found some gummy adult vitamins so I take those now. They are from one a day and they do not give me an upset stomach at all!! Maybe you can try to find them  Good Luck0

I take Magaman Vitamins made by GNC. I have to take them after breakfast so my stomach doesn't turn. Does make my pee glow in the dark too.0

Yes I also get sick. I tried replacing my OneSource with just a B-Complex vitamin and it breaks me out.0

Male prospective here: Men's vitamins without iron really helped my upset stomach disappear. We generally do not need the extra iron anyhow. For women, I would think a glass of milk or something on your stomach with your vitamins would help. Trust me, Iron is usually the culprit.0

Maybe I will try to find the adult gummies or attempt some milk. Thanks for the advice. What about Calcium 600mg. They make me feel the same way as a daily vitamin.0

I've been taking One-A-Day multivitamins, and they made me very queasy and dizzy. I've also tried taking food with them, and it didn't matter. So I threw them all out yesterday. I asked my trainer about them, and she said to try and food based multivitamin, instead of a lab made one. Maybe that would help? I still need to try this myself.0

It took me about a year of solid vitamin consumption for my stomach to adjust.. Now I am able to take all my vits and supps (5-6 horse pills) on an empty stomach with no issue. Originally I could not handle any before noon.0
