    Beatles. Hands down.

Couldn't handle the fame, fell apart.

The Rolling Stones are still making music, still selling out shows, still kicking *kitten* of musicians a quarter of their age. Hell, if there's a nuclear war, the only two things that will survive are cockroaches and Keith Richards.

In fairness most of the music they have produced in the last 10/15 years has been pretty average

I dont think its fair to compare, there music is totally different, the beatles changed from start to finish, stones still trying to recapture there classic r&r style.

    Both truly amazing

As far as what they did for music, neither one is overrated. They both changed Music. I was never much of a Beatles fan, but, as I've gotten older, I've come to appreciate what a great songwriter John Lennon was. The Stones wouldn't have had the longevity they are experiencing if it wasn't for the great songs they have recorder over the last 50 Years.

Keith Richards looks like a hairless cat. I have a picture comparing, but it won't let me post it.

They both have their place in music history and you have to respect that and what they did for the industry and the world, although I don't see why people get overly obsessed with either one now.
