Im on week 2 so low impact right now is my goal. I will work my way up to more intensity but for now Im just doing a DVD called "Walk away the pounds"

So many people talk about different Wii games for exercise.

Is there any one you like for beginners???

I absolutely love love love the wii fit, especially all the aerobics. I even use my wii balance board as a stair stepper for evening workouts while watching TV :)

EA Sports Active is really good....you get to pick what intensity you exercise at....
  • There is simply a Step (and Advanced Step) one where you step in time and do different steps which is really great. And boxing is always a good one. Those 2 are probablys the ones I work up the biggest sweat on!

If you like to dance, I love Zumba. Also, if you do Wii sports some of them get a pretty good burn. Boxing and tennis give me the biggest burn. Have fun and I hope this helps.

When I first started trying to exercise I only did the wii fit every day. I loved it. I do all of the Leslie Sansone dvd's including the Walk away the Pounds and I love them. I also think the Just Dance and Just Dance 2 for the wii are good workouts to get started with.

Wii Fit and Will Fit Plus worked for me. I started really slowly, and was able to keep up. When I first started, I hated "running" around the island -- had a really hard time getting through the 2 minutes of jogging. Now do the 30 minute free-run for fun, and am working on transitioning to outside.

I love the tennis, and Zumba. I'm working on Dancing on Broadway. I have heard that EA Sports will give you a better burn than Wii fit, and am planning on trying that soon.
