    Weighing in 0.8lb less than last Tuesday with a final check in weight of 183.2

    Final : 183.2

    14.8lbs lost out of goal of 12lbs(approx. 20%) to lose.

    Morning all,

    I am disappointed this morning, ending this week with a gain of 1 pound. Hopefully this will help me with our next challenge by remembering the feeling of ending a six week challenge with a gain rather than a loss.

    I am happy to be down for this challenge instead of gaining. I know I wasn’t as on top of things like tracking my calories, measuring, and planning. I wasn’t really focusing on a small loss for the week, but instead of focusing on the bigger number for the challenge or overall goal. Focusing on the small number helped me in the beginning and I will try to do that again for the next challange.

    Of course we all are realizing life happens and we need to juggle our weight loss journey with all of the many other things we have going on and popping up in our life. Thank goodness I have all you girls with your motivation and advice. Hope everyone has a great day!

    Can't believe this is the end of the 6 weeks!! Here are my stats. I had a doctors appointment this morning (boo) and their scale put me up over my starting weight even so I don't think that is very trustworthy. :grumble:

    But using my mom's scale which I think is closer to mine:

    That's the same as lat week but I'm happy with no gain especially after having been home for a few days now. My Friday weigh ins tend to always be better than tuesdays too so we'll see then if its better. But the day after Thanksgiving, probably not!!! :D

    As for inches:
    Height: 5'6" SAME - haha
    Upper Arm: 11 12
    Bust: 38 37
    Waist (belly button): 39 37.5
    Hips (widest part at bottom): 41 SAME 41
    Thigh (at top): 25 24.5

    Total Inches: 154 152

    So down 2 inches although since I am up in my arms I guess that is kind of a good thing?? :huh:
    I didn't lose as much as I would have liked but 4.4 lbs. is more than nothing and I've made significant changes in my life so that is a goal achieved!!!

    FIrst off, just want to tell you all that my weight loss durning this challenge was almost non existant but that is completely opposite of the support that you all give. It is great and I will keep up with these challenges for as long as they go on!

    Congrats to all of you that did loose and even some made their goal or exceeded it!

    I can not find my measurements unfortunately but this time I am going to send them to myself. So I will post them in the new thread.

    Well, I got to end the challenge with a 1 pound loss. That is all. no place near my goal of 12 pounds lost.

    Well ladies, I am so excited!! I started this challenge at 232 w/ a goal to remove 8 lbs. I REACHED IT. The journey was rocky at times but it all worked out at the end!!

    Stats
    5'4" tall
    Upper arm: initial 13.5 now 13.25
    Bust: initial 48.5 now 47.5
    Waist initial 44 now SAME
    Hips- initial 47.5 now SAME
    Thigh single: initial 27.5 now 26.5
    Thighs together: inital 42 now 41.25
    195.5 total initially ---- NOW 193.5 , -2 inches

    I'm pretty darned excited about this! I didn't lose my goal of 10lbs, but I lost more than the 1 lb a week that I normally do. I am glad too that the water restriction has been lessened somewhat by the doctor, I really was bumming yesterday when the scale was up 2 lbs, but it was back down today!

    So for inches, not too bad. I have to say that I'm not 100% confident in my measurements today because I'm holding some serious water (I checked in the last 2 days because I knew today would be sodium day so my 174 is consistent from the last 2 days). But that's okay!! It's a loss and it's accurate or close to it.

I have to say that I'm not 100% confident in my measurements today because I'm holding some serious water (I checked in the last 2 days because I knew today would be sodium day so my 174 is consistent from the last 2 days). But that's okay!! It's a loss and it's accurate or close to it.

    Goal: 15% of 29= 4.35 pounds (so we will say 5 pounds or 0.8 pounds per week).
    Goal weight in 6 weeks: 162 pounds (final weigh in will be November 25th).
    OR
    Goal: 20% of 29= 5.8 pounds (so we will say 6 pounds or 1 pound per week).
    Goal weight in 6 weeks: 161 pounds (final weigh in will be November 25th).

    I met my 20% goal but I am disappointed with myself because I weighed 158.5 on Thursday AND Friday, then lost it over the weekend. I'll work at it again, but I guess I need to focus on the positive. I made goal and lost 20% of my weight loss goal.


    Onward to the Holiday Challenge, ladies!!!

    ok I have updated my weight several times but whenever you guys bring ina new week it never shows up there. It shows me at 275 but I am now at 266.
