On and Off of FP for years

I have been back and forth with FP for a few years. This time I am serious. I just turned 30 and was put on cholesterol medicine. I am determined to get off of the medicine. I started on FP (seriously) on October 4, 2014. I have since lost 13 lbs. I want to lose 28 more lbs. I need some encourage and possibly similar people with the same issues. I'm 5 feet and my current weight is 146 lbs. I need to get to 118!

    That's great @shfoster0721!

  • I'm back after regaining 12 of the 45 I lost two years ago. I'm really paying attention to the things I say to myself...no "hate" messages. One day at a time, lots of patience, and a good sense of humor help.

I must have "started" on MFP 20 times before I got serious about it in January. Part of the reason I finally got focused was the medical issues I was starting to have. Cholesterol was one of them - all of my numbers were bad. My BP was high, my blood glucose was high. Fast forward 10 mos and I just got my blood tests back and everything is within healthy ranges. Small changes make a big difference!
