Well, I would assume one would be that they're relaxing and indirectly reduce stress.
Now I want to go in a Jacuzzi.0 -
The sauna reminds you of hot summer days, the jacuzzi is heaven on earth, the steam room clears you out nicely if you're getting a cold.0

Thanks for the answers guys. I agree with what you are saying.
I wonder if there are additional health gains after a work out; are any of them particularly good after a cardio session? Any prolong calorie burn etc

Nope. But it sure is good for sore muscles! The only thing it would assist with (especially the sauna) is water weight, since you're sweating. But that comes back pretty quickly.0 -

Anyone can get a PhD from a school in the midwest, it doesn't mean they know what they're talking about.

It gets people out of my way so I can lift or swim with less traffic.
I used a sauna to cool down from training. I would really like to try a hiit workout in a sauna.

I have a steam shower at home. I don't know what the actual benefits are, but it feels damn good after a bike ride. Especially a winter ride.0

I have a jacuzzi at home. Mom had cervical cancer and after the doctors messed up and radiated her archeries instead of the cancer they narrowed reducing blood flow to her legs and her muscles started dying. The jacuzzi really helped with the pain in her legs so maybe it could benefit if you're feeling sore from working out?0

It's not mine either. Don't use being a polyglot as an excuse. Additionally, attacking other members is against site rules and will get you sanctioned. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
You are welcome.0 -
