Hey everyone, name's Alexandre. Glad to meet you all. I'm 26 years old and I work in IT. I'm 5'3", weighting 137 pounds. My goal is 126 pounds.

I thought posting here would help my motivation with all the people supporting each other. I think by sharing your weight loss publicly, you get other people to care about you and support you. It will create a sense of expectation from your audience. Anyway. I've been trying to reach 125-126 pounds for some years now (3-4) but I always fell back down around 130. I did reach 130 twice but never really got to my goal. Now, I want to get in boxing competition shape so I'm going all the way through.

I discovered recently that I suffered from bulimia. I always thought my bulimia episodes were actually just bad cheat days but it ended up more serious. I moved back to my parents for a while - give me some time to get back up and sort some problems I have. After talking to a friend, I decided not to consult a doctor about it. I think it's something you have to fight against all your life. You just learn to control it and accept it. Although, I still have depression moments and I find myself thinking about food a lot of time. What do you think? Should I consult?

Diet:
Here is my cutting diet. Theoretically, I should ingest 1800 cals but I'm sitting at 1500. I thought it was more reasonable for weight loss. I'm looking for advice so if you would modify anything there, let me know please.

Workout:
Monday: 30min punching bag boxing cardio - 2min boxing/1min rest rounds, 10 rounds - Some rounds I'll be moving a lot around the bag and hit it fast with combos, others I'll stay still and land powerful blows, etc
Tuesday: 1h30min boxing club
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: 1h30min boxing club
Friday: Same as monday
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: 45min special jogging cardio - I made up this cardio workout at my local outdoor track I'll do 5 min warm-up jogging, then, every track length (100 yards), I'll do various cardio exercise such as raising my legs to my waist, side stepping, lunges, cross side stepping, push-ups every couple yards, thunder squats, etc - Also, at every track ends, I'll do 60 jump ropes on one side and 30 second intense shadow boxing at the other

So that's it for me. Now, I'm looking for some support and friends so I'll start a new thread tomorrow that will be my weight loss journal where I will post updates everyday containing progress pictures, daily weight ins, diet change, difficulties I'm going through or just random thoughts. I hope some of you hop aboard so we can support each other!

Glad to be here :)

  • I think about food a lot as well... when I should focus and do serious things, and even when I am insanely full. It's really annoying sometimes.

Again, this morning, I was thinking about stuffing myself with carbs. I quickly tossed the idea away to focus back on my goal.

I am going to the tracks for my sunday cardio and after that I'm going to buy a fridge magnet calendar where I'll note all my weights in and mark every day until my estimated goal reach date (which is in the first week of december, if I believe the website calculator). It will help on focus and motivation.

Never forget these ideas are just impulse and do not really justify themselves since we don't really need that food. Although, planning cheat days/meals can help fulfill certain desires.
