    Where do you play?

    I'm in a band and non-musicians ask this question all the time. I live in NYC...do I really have to run down the list of places I play?

    In my current job and social circle I am so pleased to almost NEVER get the dreaded questions re: kids, religion, and boring career stuff.

    I do still get the weight loss Q's but for the most part that has waned now that everyone has either blown me off as a liar or tried MFP and loved or hated it for themselves.

    Over the past year or two the Q I get asked the most is "where did you get your (insert item of clothing or accessory/bag)!?" and I don't honestly mind.

    My nationality/ethnicity I get asked this all the time which is fine, it's better than assuming, I just get tired of hearing myself say it all the time. I might just start wearing a sign that tells everyone "what" I am.

    Seems I can tell people over and over that I work in instructional technology at a college, and even explain what it is, but it never sticks. I've resolved to tell people I teach.

    Same here, but most people know that anymore so I stopped getting asked and they just make statements like, 'I could never run on that little sleep'.
