Bootcamp assessments!

So, I joined MFP in late Feb and went from eating whatever I wanted to and NEVER working out to making a pretty big lifestyle change immediately. I seriously started counting calories and actually found the time to be active. I joined a bootcamp challenge--which was a 6 week camp that met 3 times a week at 6am. Not only was the actual working out a change for me but I also was not a morning person at all. The camp recently ended and I just received my assessments which I thought I would share!

Measurements:
Before After
Arms 12 12
Chest 41.5 39.5
Waist 32.5 30
Hips 42.25 41.75
Thighs 23.5 22.5

Body Fat:
Before After
Chest/Tricep 24% 17%
Supra/Abs 25% 20%
Quadricep 28% 18%
TOTAL 28.8% 21.9%

Time for 1 mile run went from 12:18 to 9:20
Full sit ups (2 minutes) went from 18 to 36.
Full push ups (2 minutes) went from 9 to 15.

Although I'm still not exactly where I want to be I am really proud of my results! I can certainly tell I have toned up and am looking better. I'm doing another challenge mid May that is Monday through Friday for 3 weeks and I really can't wait!

    congrats! those are great results!

    i just finished week 1 of boot camp. our is only 4 weeks, but it's 3 x wk @ 6am. i don't classify myself as a morning person either but i have to say getting up at 5 isn't so bad. i love the obstacle courses, seeing the sunrise, and it helps that the instructor is less about yelling and more motivational. i'm already looking forward to the next boot camp series too. good luck with the rest of your journey. :happy:
