Success doing 5:2

Hiii again all!!!
Has anyone lost weight following the 5:2
If so how long did it take you?

    I lost 8 pounds last year on the 5:2 plan, but I was very, very hungry and hypoglycemic-feeling on those days. I quickly gained it all back feasting at the cafeteria when I worked at a summer job that required a lot of physical activity in my day. This time I started out with reliable information from http://www.choosemyplate.gov/weight-management-calories.html. I eat nutrient dense, small meals throughout the day, and I do not suffer the terrible hunger and loss of energy. I may consider the 5:1 plan for weight maintenance, but it would be more about fasting for spiritual purposes than weight-control.

    there are a couple of groups on mfp for 5:2,... Ive been doing it since September and have lost weight...around 2 lbs a week along with exercise and eating at a slight deficit on my regular days. For me it took about a week to get used to it, but I dont have the hunger pains, I eat my 500 in the morning, some people space it out thru out the day, some wait for dinner, whatever works for you. Just like anything else...somethings work for some people some things dont.
