Hey there, welcome to my weight loss diary thread!

So last week, I challenged myself to reach my goal by the first week of january (and cut/stop cheat days) so I thought I would keep a sort of diary to really track the progress I make. Also, I am hoping to make some friends here and trade some motivation!

I'll be updating the thread everyday with various information, thoughts or story. Tuesdays will be Progress Pic days. Please, feel free to spam me with motivation, questions or anything that crosses your mind!

Diet:
Here is my cutting diet. Theoretically, I should ingest 1800 cals but yesterday, I changed my intake to 1700 calories so I'll be modifying certain elements on my diet in the next days.

Workout:
Monday: 30min punching bag boxing cardio - 2min boxing/1min rest rounds, 10 rounds - Some rounds I'll be moving a lot around the bag and hit it fast with combos, others I'll stay still and land powerful blows, etc
Tuesday: 1h30min boxing club
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: 1h30min boxing club
Friday: Same as monday
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: 45min special jogging cardio - I made up this cardio workout at my local outdoor track I'll do 5 min warm-up jogging, then, every track length (100 yards), I'll do various cardio exercise such as raising my legs to my waist, side stepping, lunges, cross side stepping, push-ups every couple yards, thunder squats, etc - Also, at every track ends, I'll do 60 jump ropes on one side and 30 second intense shadow boxing at the other

Stats:
Current weight: 135lbs
Goal weight: 126lbs
Remaining: 9lbs
Body Fat: TBD

  • I couldn't log yesterday so I'll do it this morning and repost tonight.

I didn't have access to my digital scale monday and weighted at 135lbs on a spare one. That was 2 pounds drop. Wasn't confident about that. Anyway, I weighted on my usual digital scale yesterday and was indeed at 135.4lbs. Weight can fluctuate so much.

Wednesdays suck for me right now. My usual work shift is 7AM-3:30PM. Except on wednesdays where I work 1:30PM-10PM. What that means is I have long tuesdays (where I'm not sure if I should eat more since I tend to stay awake until 3AM because I work late on wednesday) and short wednesdays.

Anyway, wednesday is rest day (mainly due to my schedule). Diet went fine, I tried kefir today. I'm not sure about the sparkles lol.

I weighed in at 137.2lbs this morning.

Talk to you later, I gotta work!

Just curious as to why you chose a thread instead of using your MFP blog? The blog just sounds like an easier place to do this than a thread.

I love boxing. I just started 2 months ago actually. I should start fighting in february :) I never played hockey really. I do skate a lot during winter though. Great cardio

I wasn't aware of the feature. Oops.

On your page, go to My Home then its 3 over from Check in below that, if you want to start using it. I'm mentioning it because sometimes the forums get mean while usually blogs are read by your friends, sometimes other MFP users and then its really anything you want to say there. Just a thought, good luck on your tracking!

My sister LOVES boxing- she goes to Title I boxing where she lives close to Boston. She has lost like 40 pounds over the past year simply working out hard to that and just limiting simple carbs.
