We're planning a bake sale next month. Every time we've done this in the past, no one buys my stuff. I want something exciting and fun, preferably with a Christmas theme. I know it might early to start planning, but I am determined for people to want what I make.
Don't hold back-no rules except the obvious no alcohol (church group). I want to hear your best ideas!

I made both of these recipes last year and they came out great:

These are recipes I plan to try this year:

Just an added note: from past experience, cupcakes and cookies seem to sell the best, so I'd like some I dead for those. Anything at all is welcome though!0

From my experience with church holiday bake sales, the things that sell best are frosted cut-out cookies and pumpkin rolls.0

Make something simple and classic....layer bars, rice krispie teats a whole cake to be sold whole. If ppl feel they already know what it is they're likely to buy it.0

I love this carrot cupcake recipe! You can food color the cream cheese frosting to make them more festive. Yum! http://smittenkitchen.com/blog/2008/12/carrot-cake-with-maple-cream-cheese-frosting/
I don't put raisins on mine, but I do the chopped walnuts. I also don't decorate it like she did - I just kind of dip and twirl the cupcakes in the frosting. =P0 -

How does a red velvet cookie, iced with cream cheese frosting, and topped with crushed spearmint candy canes (green stripes) sound? That's what I've been thinking about doing.0
