Cut up in soups is great, cabbage rolls, sauteed with whatever you want to include. I don't have any of my mom's recipes but hope some will get posted here.

I love making a version of coleslaw.
I buy the shredded prepared cabbage at the grocery store and mix it with some olive oil and malt vinegar.
(for me) the kids are pickier so I mix theirs with light mayo and fat free italian dressing.

I LOVE cabbage rolls, does anyone have a suggestion about how to make them without the rice?

oh my word, i had literally just posted on a comment in my newsfeed about going to get myself some cabbage for lunch tomorrow as i'd not had it in ages, how bizzare to then find this thread. i like green/white cabbage lightly boiled with a bit of black pepper (i used to toss it in butter too lol) never been a fan of red cabbage unless its raw, and spring gives me gas lol

I love cabbage, but the only way I've ever had it and the only way I know how to cook it is boiled with potatoes and carrots and loaded with salt. It tastes soo good, but puts me way over on sodium.

I use brown rice in mine but you don't have to add rice at all....Instead use lots of veggies in with your meat (lean ground beef or ground turkey). I like to use chopped green peppers, mushrooms, onions and celery but you can add whatever you like. I use no salt tomato sauce and no salt chopped tomatoes in mine. Simply delicious:)!
