Tuna

So I have some tuna and I'm going to put it in a low carb/low fat tortilla for my lunches, but I'm wondering what are some good alternatives to mayonnaise? I don't want to eat light mayonnaise because even that has a little too much fat for my liking. The more ideas the better!
Thanks in advance :)

I just had tuna and put mustard in it, but that's a lot of sodium!

Mustard is good, or some pickle relish. I've tried fat free sour cream & fat free yogurt. All have unique tastes!

Make sure you limit the amount of tuna you eat. It's high in mercury and the cans leach BPA which causes reproductive problems.

So I like to make tuna mixed with some red wine vinegar, white beans, and spicy giardiniera - you can also add some chopped onions if you'd like, and then I like to eat it with some crackers (or right out of the bowl!)

    YES! Yum.

I like tuna mixed with cottage cheese that I have added a little ranch seasoning too. Also great with chickpeas instead of tuna!

Salsa is good too though I secretely love it just mixed with ketchup. Classy  Or kidney beans and some Italian dressing.

This will sound strange but hummus and BBQ sauce is a surprisingly good combination!

low fat natural yoghurt, was raised eating my tuna this way and LOVE it, tastes better than tuna mayo in my opinion. Enjoy whatever you choose to put with it :-)

i was going to suggest hummus, tuna also goes great with cheese, i'll be having my tuna with balsamic vinegar tonight
  • I love mixing it with a laughing cow cheese wedge. The nacho cheese style one is my fav. It has some sodium but besides that they are amazing and only 35 cals!!!

  • nandoes peri peri sauce is the answer to all of your tuna woes.

    alternatives could be dijonaise

    dijonnaise_mustard_squeeze.gif

according to the nutritional values it has 5 cals. it also appears to have nothing in it.. which confuses me. but hey. whos gonna complain
