Are you plateauing? I have heard that it should be about a month. If its that long, just cut your calories.

2 weeks would be my limit, but I'm not the most patient person in the world.

Don't panic. Until it's been 2-4 weeks, it's usually not considered a plateau. Give it time, make sure you're logging and measuring everything correctly, and give it time (repeated deliberately for emphasis).

2 weeks, although I do tend to get a bit antsy after a week or so....

Exactly. I hit two weeks where I still lost, but very small amounts compared to prior weeks. I just stayed the course and the next week I dropped again.

The other thing that seems to work for me if I feel like I'm not losing in any given week is to have a cheat day. NOT a go-crazy-and-eat-everything-on-the-planet day, but a day where I maybe eat maintenance or slightly above. It seems to confuse my metabolism or something and I end up dropping weight that week.

I usually say to wait three weeks before you start to worry, especially if you've made any changes to your exercise routine lately. Since it's only been 4 days my advice would be to back away from the scale for at least week or two and stop weighing yourself so often.

4 days is absolutely not long enough to get worried. I have often gone 3 or 4 weeks with no loss, and then all of a sudden, it comes back. For me (and for many other women) the timing of my cycle matters A LOT. Take a look at your diary and see if something has been different lately, but if not, just keep doing what you are doing. Panicking is not going to help you in the long run. If it bothers you that much to not lose for 4 days, then go to only weighing yourself weekly at most.
