Ladies, what do you bench press?

We were training earlier tonight and after wanting to release a little aggression post squating, we moved to the bench. This is her 4th set and I decided to have her try 105 lbs and record it. I'm extremely proud of her and she has put in a tremendous amount of work.
Her stats:
Age: 39
Body weight: 135
2012 body weight: 190 lbs
Ladies, feel free to post your stats and what you are currently bench pressing

Very nice! Thank you for posting this.
I am a beginner. I just did 12 reps at 60 lbs. yesterday. Has she been training since 2012? Her video gives me something to shoot for.0 -

wow! that's awesome! I'm not quite up to that level yet. working on it though.0

Awesome work Dora!
I'm not sure what my max bench for reps would be, as I never have anyone around to spot me so I can attempt it. Before I switched programs, I was working with 95 lbs trying to get a 3x5, always ended up with 4 reps in 1 or 2 sets though. Now I want to hit the bench and see how many reps I can get in triple digits.

That's some great pressing indeed. Especially considering how loose you are on the bench and flat. For a bit of shoulder safety, I'd check out this vid on scapular retraction on your setup. Not only will it help save the shoulders but you'll be able to press more too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCwD_LuxHL80

My arms are so weak
Currently I'm running Bret Contraras's glute challenge with some arms thrown in afterwards, but after I finish that, I think I might actually go back to stronglifts
Currently I'm doing 3x6 at 75lbs and I'm supposed to get up to 3x12 by the end of the program, but I don't think I'm going to make it.
On strong lifts (before I got burnt out on doing the same program for over a year) I was doing 3x5 at 95lbs

That's seriously impressive. I weigh 145 and bench 75 right now. I'm still a beginner though.0

Awesome! I JUST started and I'm only up to 60lbs on 5x5, which is really hard for me. I'm just hoping to reach 100 some day.0

Nice job! I started Stronglifts about 7 months ago and am up to 110 pounds for my reps. Feels like I could go heavier but haven't tested my 1 rep max yet, don't like doing that roll of shame.0

135 or a full plate on each side, i am 145
took me a long time to get there tho0 -
I can rep out anywhere from 135-155 depending # of reps.
my 1 RPM is 185 currently.0 -

Nice!
Bench is by far my weakest lift. I got 1.5 reps at 100 lbs on my 1+ set last cycle (175 lb BW)...trainer had to assist at the end of second rep. He has me changing some parts of my form, and hopefully I'll get it progressing soon.0 -

We were talking last night and she said she felt like she easily had 2 reps left in with no problem. I think next week we might try a 1RM. Neither one of us have ever been to worried about Bench 1RM, we've always focused on Deadlift 1RM.
I'm kind of honestly annoyed by it- I've tried to put up 205-200-195 and I keep getting stuck- my goal is 2 plates. I'm tweaking things as well so it's making it interesting- trying to not flare- and trying to use a slightly wider grip- which means my progress has pretty much progressed to a flat out snails pace.He has me changing some parts of my form, and hopefully I'll get it progressing soon.0 -
I tested a 1RM max at 95 lbs a couple of months ago at 119 lbs.
Since then, I've changed back to a beginners program because I realized I left some lower body strength on the table (not yet worked back up to where I was), and nearly completed 1/2 marathon training. And I'm cutting. Not a recipe for improving lifts. Last session was 75x5x5. I'm currently at 116 lbs.0 -
OMG, you all are so impressive. I just started a couple weeks ago, my 1RM was something like 50 pounds (!!), and my first bench press rep set after a few other upper body exercises over the past 10 days, my trainer had me press I think.....yeah, the 50 pounds (the bar and two dinky little 2.5-lb plates!) for my 5x5. That's it so far for me!!! What inspiration, though--I would love to see me get up to 100 lbs or more. My upper body is so weak....obviously....0
