Erm, I'm a cross-platform gal: I have in my house right now: SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, 3ds, DS and a Gameboy SP all lovingly used, lol.
Favorite genre: JRPG. But I like the casual 'farming' games (Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon), racing games and action rpgs too as well as many of the Mario series.

Totally depends on the mood, but because of my lifestyle (see below), I prefer something I can just pick up and put down without having to think much.

Casual - I used to be a very heavy gamer in my teens. Nowadays, I'm self-employed, work 10-14 hours/day, train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 10-15 hours/week, and try to pretend I have a social life. I haven't turned on my PS3 in weeks, though I hope to this weekend, if my to-do list gets under control.

How many hours do you play a week?

On a good week, 2-3. Most weeks, zero. But if I'm between projects, or injured and can't train at the gym, I binge pretty hard.

Favorite game of all time?

Such a tough question... Diablo 2, or Starcraft. Maybe Morrowind - all three have eaten hundreds, if not thousands of hours of my teenaged-life.

Single player - I don't need 14 year olds telling me what they did with my mother last night, or screeching homophobic slurs at me.

Tactics was incredible! So many easter eggs and side quests, too!

I had the same reaction for magazines - it actually made me wonder if this is some lame veiled attempt at market research haha.
