Good Smoothie Recommendations?

Well I guess I'm going to Jamba Juice for a protein smoothie for lunch. As I heard they are good and it has to replace my lunch until my mouth numbness wears off from my filling. Dentist said I can drink anything hot or cold so a smoothie sounds good.
Any recommendations on which one's are the most satisfying for a normally big eater?
I'm starving and it has to replace my whole lunch which is usually a sandwich.
Other local places are Robek's, Starbucks, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Pinkberry (do they make smoothies?), and etc. we have a lot I can't list them all...but we have most places near where I live, I just need a very filling smoothie and I like everything so recommend away! What's your favorite smoothie?

I couldn't imagine trying to replace solid food with a smoothie. Nor have I ever had a tooth situation so severe that i couldn't just carefully chew on one side of my mouth.0

I love the Kale Apple one. I don't know if it will replace a whole lunch but it's really good and good for you!0

Thank you for finally answering. I already died of starvation from the hours ago I posted.
However it was the dentist who instructed me not to eat solid food until the anesthesia wore off. I didn't ask why, but only could guess that there's a risk of biting myself since I can't feel things?
IDK, but glad you bumped this b/c it's dinnertime and I'm still numb and wondering what I should have for dinner? Except I'm dead. From starvation. From nobody answering when it was lunchtime.0 -

I saw that one and plan to try it next time. On the new juice column right? I told the guy thanks for showing me that but I think I'll try it next time b/c right now I nneed to get full. Real full, because I'm starving.
So he told me the PB Chocolate Love can get protein added to it to keep me full longer as a meal would and it already contained oatmeal which I thought would be more filling. It worked, I'm barely getting hungry now.
Except I'm dead. From no one replying earlier and telling me what to choose. You are communicating with a zombie right now.0 -
for all of you who are just on pins and needles about my can't eat dillema I ended up eating 1.5 baked potatoes with sour cream and butter. It was satisfying. I did not starve to death today.
I did go over cals though. Just a bit. Tomorrows workout should handle it.
So that's what you eat when you are instructed by the dentist liquids only. Smoothie and baked potato.0 -
Bacon, egg, cream cheese, almond milk, throw in some spinach ... you're right, yuck.
Smoothies = too much sugar.-1 -
why on earth would someone flag THAT^..
I'm changing horses in midstream. I am now on a crusade against willy nilly flagging.
Get your big girl panties on willy nilly flagging, I'm coming for you!0 -
I'm sorry you died from not getting a smoothie suggestion.
Your commentary about the peanut butter chocolate one has piqued my interest. I've been wanting to stray from my normal banana + whatever berries I have on hand + yogurt smoothie...I wonder how a half tablespoon of peanut butter and a few chocolate chips melted into it, blended with a banana and vanilla yogurt would be like.
I'll have to wonder, since the store is currently closed. HO HUM.0 -
I do the PB/chocolate chip/banana one, it's pretty darn tasty Sometimes I'll do a PB/PB2, strawberries, oats, yogurt = PB&J smoothie0

I do have some leftover oats from my homemade granola bar escapades..do you cook them before, or just throw them in raw?

I soak mine in some almond milk for about 10 mins before I throw them in.

Orange Carrot Karma!! That's what I used to get. There's no Jamba Juice where I'm living now but the Smoothie King's version is alright.0 -
How the hell did you know that?! I think that's the one. lol.

Raw, you want pure protein in it's rawest form. Don't want to cook the protein out of your meat.
Whole refers to the milk, possibly.

Funny thing that, we digest cooked protein better than we do raw.0

I'll have to wonder, since the store is currently closed. HO HUM.
Instead of chocolate chips, use 1 tbsp cocoa powder...way easier.
