2 cups pitted dates
1/2c cocoa powder
1tbsp coconut powder
2-4tbsp maple syrup to taste
2 heaping tbsp natural peanut butter
Combine all ingredients by pulsing in processor, just until combined and press into pan.

How many servings does this typically yield? What size pan are you using? Thanks for the idea!0

I'd roll that into balls and coat them in shredded coconut.0

I've made date brownies before, made my stomach queasy. If a date-sub can be rec'd I'd try these though! I'm thinking maybe some type of boiled white beans. And then more syrup for sweetness.0

I have a recipe for black bean brownies that is TO DIE FOR.
And I'm not normally one to make "healthy substitutions" - I enjoy eating all foods! - but seriously, black bean brownies are something that everyone should try. So rich and fudgy.
Mmmm i might bake some tonight!0 -
I'd love to have the black bean brownie recipe please!0

I don't use the instant coffee, and usually omit the chocolate chips. Your preference, of course.0 -

It made 12 brownies, and I used a 9" X 9" pan.0
