Buying a scale

I hope there isn't a sticky somewhere about this that I overlooked, but I'm in the market for a bathroom scale (I weigh at a friend's house every couple of weeks, but I think it's time to be more self-reliant). Can you guys recommend a good, reasonably-priced one? Obviously I don't want to cheap out if it means getting inaccurate readings, but I'd rather not completely break the bank if there's a good model for less.

Hubby and I have a Taylor scale that sells at Walmart for about 21 dollars on sale on line right now.

I have a weird thing about not keeping a scale in the bathroom because of the chance that the humidity will mess up the mechanism. (Don't laugh.) Therefore, we keep it in the kitchen.0 -
I got an electric one at Big Lots for like 10 bucks. It seems pretty accurate. Most of them should work reasonably well so I woudlnt worry too much unless you get one that has different readings than you get at your friends (significantly different, since elevation can effect the reading)0

I have 2 in our house. One is .4 higher than the other but both very consistent. Got both at walmart-- about 20 bucks each.

"Healthometer LED Split Mat Bath Scale" is the other one (link is huge as hell)0 -

I LOVE MY SCALE!!!! It's the Eat Smart Precision Digital Scale. It has a giant LED screen so that I can weight myself in the dark when I'm still half asleep. It goes up in .2 increments and it's insanely accurate. I just love it so much. It has tons of great reviews everywhere. And it's only $30!0
