What kind things do you give yourself when you reach your goals? I dont want to reward my self with like food or something because i'm working on transforming how I eat.. so it should be constant. I mean I eat normal stuff.. I just balance my calorie goals out. i had a donut yesterday lol but i still lose weight because i'm balancing it out.. Anyways I dont want to do clothes because I want to wait till i'm done.. so music?? workout clothes?? what kind of things do you guys do?? lol

How about treating yourself to a beauty treatment - maybe a really nice massage?

If I've done well, I look good and feel good. So I wear form-fitting clothes and look for excuses to be in public. I give my inner narcissist a win for a while

    Workout clothes
Non-food related treat (movie, music, new mp3 player, for example)
    Shoes
A night out doing something FUN
A success party (I'm doing that one when I hit 20 pounds lost)
    A new haircut/style
    Nails done

There's a LOT of things you can reward yourself with that don't involve food or clothes. :)

    Some suggestion

    1) manicure & pedi
    2) haircut & new style
    3) gift certificate to your favorite store.
    4) music for walking or exercising
    5) new exercise program (eg Wii EA sports or yoga)

My first reward is new walking shoes as I will be participating in the Canadian Cancer Relay for Life in June & will need GOOD shoes for walking 12 hours.

I have 3 more wieght lose goals after this one but haven't decided what I am going to reward myself with yet.

new running shoes, a weekend with my husband, new haircut (but i'm the kind of person who literally gets them every 2-5 years, so it really is a "treat" for me) new underwear, a dress (last one i got was my wedding dress, so i'm really looking forward to this one), new stereo for my car, and the wedding i always wanted, WITHOUT all the extra people. my final goal is the best one - i'm going off birth control the MINUTE i'm within my goal range.

I don't have a lot of spare cash to buy things or go places, so I like to take advantage of the less expensive rewards:

    1) Tell my hubby I've earned a reward, leave him with the kids and go play cards or watch a DVD or TIVO'ed show, with my friends one Friday night.

    2) Invite my friends over for a "spa night" we drink iced water with sliced fruit in it (looks pretty and is inexpensive) and make scrubs with corn meal and olive oil, relax with a warm moist towel from the micro wave, a mask with honey coconut oil and mashed banana or avacado yes cucumber slices for your eyes is nice too, a rinse with cool peppermint tea, then I apply a little dab of coconut oil for moisture, and then we soak our feet in dish tubs (from the dollar store) full of scented Epsom salts (cheap at WalMart). So nice. If you want food... fruit skewers are a nice touch.

    3) Go to the lake or community park for a walk, by myself, and take note of everything beautiful I see.. I delight myself in nature.

    4) Ask my hubby if he'll be willing to give me a 15 minute massage for every five pound increment I lose, he's always happy to help!

I usually either buy something that will help me with my exercise or go try something new: zip lines, a new hiking location, a new exercise class...
