As a side note: Who here saw 'A Bug's Life'? (A misfit ant, looking for "warriors" to save his colony from greedy grasshoppers, recruits a group of bugs that turn out to be an inept circus troupe.) Of those what saw it, who saw "The Three Amigo's"? (Three unemployed actors accept an invitation to a Mexican village to replay their bandit fighter roles, unaware that it is the real thing.)

I never noticed that... and I love both movies.

Tremors was actually a good example of black comedy. A refreshing subversion to the typical "monster/disaster" movie

The sequel to 300 - "300 the rise of an empire" made me so pi**** I threw stuff at my TV... I've never hated another movie quite so much!

Most recent Transformers movie. 3 hours long, no plot, and Mark Wahlberg kept his shirt on the whole time. What a rip-off.

This is #2 on my "worst" list. Ugh.

Tremors (one of the stupidest movies ever created)
    Titanic (let the flaming begin...)
    Pearl Harbor
    ANY remake of The Shining
    All sequels of Transformers

    Tremors? That's sacrilege!!!

Sorry, bud! Just hated it. To each their own.

I'd say paranormal activity is in my top 5 for sure. My best friend, our mutual friend and I went to see it. And all 3 of us were pretty annoyed. We were in high school or just out (I'm 24) and we all had to get money from someone else to see it. And we all felt it was a huge waste lol

Disagree. Titanic was the stupidest movie ever made.

Notice, I said one of the stupidest ever made... Thus, implying that there are other's that are on that list of "stupidest ever made". ;)

So we're talking worst movie you've ever seen, not best worst movie (like The Stuff or Labyrinth)?

Interstellar actually ranks up there for me.
Ghost Dog was effing so bad.
    The Musketeer was god awful.

    1. Human Centipede
    2. Smiley Face - It was just too stupid for me
    3. Click - Do I need to explain?
    4. Everything must go - Boring and I just didn't enjoy it.

If we limit this to movies I actually watched all the way through there are two that jump to mind right away.

Passion - You'd think a movie that stars Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace would at least be passable. You would be very, very wrong. I can't describe how bad this film was. Imagine the worse student film ever, and then give that film a big budget and a few fairly big name stars. Yeah, it was that bad.

The Shawshank Redemption - Hate me all you want. I don't care. This was the most self-indulgent, preachy, saccharine piece of navel gazing I have ever seen. And I am actually a fan of preachy, navel gazing films. But this? I have to walk away from people when they tell me that this film was great and meaningful and transformative for them. It's like saying an episode of The Smurfs changed your life.

Chariots of Fire and Children of a Lesser God

Everyone talked up Chariots of Fire like it was fabulous. Then, we went to see it and just said, "That was what everyone liked??" I didn't hate it, but I didn't get what people liked. Still don't.

Drive - A lot of graphic violence for no reason. Didn't get it.
    Grown Ups - Seriously, terrible.
Fever Pitch - Jimmy Fallon, you are awful. Drew Barrymore, you are also awful.
Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift - Alabama Boy can't act... Like not even a little bit
The Hulk - The Ang Lee one with Eric Bana.
Big Momma's House - What were they thinking? Oh, and they made a bunch of sequels too? Good lord.
The Ring - Stupid, not scary.
Pearl Harbor - Missed the point
Titanic - Boo Frickin' Hoo, a boat sunk. IDGAF.
Human Centipede - Obviously... I'm not sure if this really counts though, as I doubt it was a serious movie in the first place

"Gerry" with Casey Affleck and Matt Damon. There were 2 scenes of talking and the rest was them walking in the desert.

"Killer Joe" with Matthew "Alright Alright Alright" McConaughey. It was weird. It was really effing weird.

I liked Killer Joe. There were a few scenes that didn't really need to be in there, and you know what I'm talking about, but I thought it was a lot better than most of the stuff he had done up to that point.
