Runners: Where do you Run?

Do you run on a track, a trail, the street? I am trying to find places close by for when I am ready to start running... there are some parks with trails, and then of course all the schools have a regular track that would be good for starting out. I also plan to use a treadmill on the cold days

I run at all of the above. I use www.mapmyrun.com to figure out a distance that I want to do that day.
If I'm running to work or around my neighbourhood, I'm usually on sidewalks and try to stay on quieter streets with less lights depending on if it's dark or not.
If I want to do some speed work, I go to a nearby track.
If I want to do a long run..more than an hour, I either run to the pathway system in my city or go to a nearby park so that there is no traffic to worry about. Running groups usually meet at parks and run on paths.
The best thing about running is that you can walk out your door and start doing it. No driving needed!0 -
I am all about trail running! I just love nature and my dog can run free with me...works for everyone.0

Anywhere. I prefer trails, but since that isn't always possible I do run in my neighborhood often. I love being able to just walk out the door and go. I run on bike paths often for the softer surface unless it is really busy then I move to the sidewalk. I am fortunate that there is an asphalt trail system that starts right near my house. I do use the treadmill for cold or when it is really raining.0

anywhere as long as I am outside. I do LOVE trail running though!!!! I rarely rarely run on a treadmill. I have learned that you must go outside to get your body used to all conditions and train it better snow below zero rain humidity you name it run in it!!!!0
