2. I too didn't eat any candy on easter, actually I didn't had any candy in april.
3. Only had fast food twice in april, subway & mcdonalds.. to think I used to have fast food everyday before MFP, ugh. :noway:0 -
April was not a great month for me in terms of managing my plan, but it was far from a failure:
1) I made it to Onderland.
2) I am finally able to wear my wedding ring, again.
3) I planned ahead for several high-calorie eating events, instead of letting the days throw me off my plan.0 -
April was rough on me...slight injury to my calf muscle....moved to a new work location further away from the gym...new office doesn't have a kitchen, just a microwave.....TOM kicked my booty....oh and my home laptop kicked the bucket, so I am stuck completing my day on the next day...
I think it's fair to say that my April success is that I am still here. Didn't quit. Not gonna.
I'll take it.0 -
Not much, weight-wise. But I think these are all things to celebrate:
1) Went from a tight size 10 to a comfortable 8 in the same brand and style of pants (only about a 3-4 lb. loss)
2) Started running 30 minutes straight, and I just did 40 minutes yesterday
3) Survived Easter, a camping trip, and a business trip to Chicago while maintaining my weight0 -
Went on a two-week cruise and didn't gain anything!
No Easter candy at all -and Reeses Peanut Butter Eggs are my kryptonite!0 -
1. Stayed under my upper limit of 140 lbs, and switched to "maintenance".
2. Had a great haircut.

Went to the gym at least 5 times a week.
Only had 5 jelly beans on easter - no chocolate.
Did have a few drinks every week, but didn't let that derail me into eating poorly....

Reached record low weight.
Increased weights for most strength training exercises to the highest weights to date.
Started riding my bicycle that was formerly rotting away in the garage.0 -

I think it's a great exercise to reflect upon our achievements to date, and to celebrate them!
In April, I...
-Went on a 2 week business trip and vacation, and didn't gain any weight! I worked out daily and tracked my calories as much as I could. My measurements and fat percentage went down in this time period!
-Lost 6 lbs
-Reached my 140s, which I haven't been in almost a decade
-Fit into clothes that I bought years or even months ago, hoping I'd fit into them one day. Also fit into a lot of clothes that I already had but became too fat for - this was the best NSV of the month0 -
I ran my first 5K on April 16th. I am very proud of it. I cried after the finish line. I couldnt run 30 seconds when I started. But during the race I never stopped to walk, even though the terrain was much steep. I moved from 189 into 183. I am trying to keep up with water and calorie intake. Calorie intake is still a struggle, but working on it.0

My accomplishment in April was that I now fit, comfortably, in a (UK) size 12, which is the smallest size ever for me. I currently have the smallest wardrobe in Ireland, I literally have to buy everything new, including underwear.
Expensive business, that losing-weight thing! :happy:0 -
I lost 8.8 lbs in April and so proud because I am so close to reaching my goal weight to 150 lbs.0
