Have you tried making cold brewed coffee in the fridge overnight? It's gentler on the stomach. Don't give up!

I can't drink coffee before a work out because it will upset my stomach to the max. I mean, it upsets my stomach regardless. But that makes it worse. But I love coffee.kaseyr1505 wrote: »I was pretty indifferent to coffee until I got a French Press.
Coffee is life, coffee is love.
*high five*
We sold our coffee pots (We had multiple) when I got my gold french press. Then we invested in a second, smaller serving french press.
All we do is French press. All day long. Every day.
French press life.

Coffee is gross? Yeah, well, and honey is bee puke. Everybody needs a daily helping of gross. It prepares your immune system for teenagers. Also for voting.
Plus, coffee is an absolute requirement for losing weight. Because otherwise I wouldn't get out of bed. Don't burn many calories lying in bed hitting the snooze button.

I've actually started drinking more coffee because the supposed benefits out weight the the supposed risks.
That and I used to drink tea with sugar and milk, and I drink cofee completely black so it saves me a bum load of calories.0 -
Depends on what you put into your coffee. I take it with a scoop of skimmed milk, and no sugar. Twice a day. Helps me survive0

Coffee is all things good in this world - besides cookies... But I digress. Coffee = Love, Life, and Sparkly Rainbows of Goodness.0

I've never heard of coffee being bad for weight loss. I stay away from it because of health reasons, though once in a while, I have some0

This is purely anecdotal, but I had read an article suggesting that caffeine could limit DOMS after a hard workout if ingested both prior and after. I started having a large cup (12 oz) of black coffee first thing in the AM, about 45 mins prior to my workout, and another right after. I'm convinced it works, muscles seemed less sore since the first day I started.
Might all be in my head, but I like the taste of coffee *and* it's calorie-free, so why not?0 -

Doctor: "Give up coffee or you'll die"
Me: "I've made peace with my deity".0
