Hey all. I'm 25, with two beautiful girls and an awesome other half. I took up running about 7 months ago and have slimmed down quite a bit. I am almost back to my pre-pregnancy weight. My goal is another 9lbs. I am trying to run three days per week, and I also do a combo of weight lifting and high intensity cardio. I've cut refined sugar, all dairy, gluten when I can, and I try to eat really healthy. I AM seeing results and it's awesome. My biggest flaw is I have a hard time sticking things through. The fact that I've consistently been running the past 7 months is huge for me. I'm trying to take things one day at a time and it's working. :) Would love to make some friends on here!

Maybe a little less restrictive diet is easier to stick to. Anyway, well done and good luck on the last lbs!

:) I am not a runner....yet! I hope as I shed more of this weight I will be able to run. I have been doing some intermittent jogging. I have a hard time with my knees, but I know as more of the weight comes off it will be easier....feel free to add me.

Kommodevaran, the only reasons I've cut dairy and limited gluten is because I have acne and those things seem to aggravate it. Normally I'm not the kind of person to totally cut out a whole food group but I'm tired of dealing with acne.

Jenjay, running is hard in the beginning but after awhile it does become enjoyable. It was hard on my knees for awhile too, but once I figured out how to tweak my form any pain went away.
