But theyre oh so horrible, i know. today I found a recipe to make them myself so they arent SO horrible but im put off by the mayo it calls for. Heres the recipe http://www.produceforkids.com/meal-planning/fantastic-fish-sticks. Any suggestions that i can sub for the mayo? or would a homemade mayo atleast be a better option? I found this one, though ive never tried it so i dont know how good it is. http://www.mommypotamus.com/video-how-to-make-homemade-mayo-the-easy-wa/
it calls for 3 egg yolks which is weird. what am i supposed to do with the egg whites after seperating them? (i admit i didnt watch the video, just read the directions so if the video addresses this, so sue me

Just enjoy the mayo and fish sticks within your macros.
And try squeezing a little lemon juice on them before dunking in mayo. It gives some of the acidity you're looking for but with pretty much zero calories.

That recipe sounds terrible. What's wrong with fish sticks? Just breaded fish.
But that recipe? Using mayo as the breading? And tilapia? The world's most useless fish?0 -

Ah, I just read the recipe now. Cooking the fish first, then breaking up to mix and re-form into sticks? Weird. Could work, though, and if you have kids it is a good way to get them involved in cookingYou might be able to get by substituting plain Greek yogurt for part or all of the mayo. The texture would be a bit different but it would be healthier.

I just buy fish, cut it in strips, roll the strips in egg whites, then panko crumbs, and bake.0
