I love cheese sticks, peppers with a laughing cow cheese wedge, veggies of all sorts. Of course all cheese is low fat.

Jerkey of any kind... Home made being the best because you can control the sodium...

    Try smoked salmon!!!!

I second egg whites... you can eat 100 of them!

I love boars head turkey - I split a laughing cow light cheese wedge in 3 and spread on 3 slices of turkey, roll up and yum! Sometimes I put mild banana peppers in the middle or have a pickle on the side.

Thanks. I eat a lot of greek yogurt already, but I need some variety. I like the idea of making jerky! Any idea how to do that?

I try and stay away from typical snacks and instead eat "mini meals" that are high in protein so it fills you up and "sticks" with you. I usually boil chicken breasts for the week with Ms. Dash chicken and then shred it up to be pulled chicken. When i am hungry for a snack, I mix this with some salsa or some chopped up veggies. You can add a bit of shredded cheese, but I try and limit my cheese as I think it is just too high fat - every the low fat kind for my plan. You can also add sauces to the chicken - BBQ. teryaki, honey mustard, etc if you don't like the plain chicken. Usually 1-2 ounces with veggies mixed in is the perfect "snack" for me and it's doesn't add too many calories, fat or carbs to your daily intake - but takes away the hunger pains.

Also, a hard boiled egg works great for a snack. Or 2 egg whites scrambled with veggies very little calories - super low in fat and carbs. Try and think outside the box when it comes to snacking - eat real food instead of what we think of as snacks.

    Good luck! :)

    Molten lava cake

    1 egg white
1 heaping scoop chocolate protein powder
    1 tbsp cocoa powder
sweetener to taste( 1 packet should be enough)
    dash baking powder
    less than 1/8 cup water

mix ingredients adding only little bit of water at a time until it is the consistency of cake batter. Microwave for 25 to 35 seconds. Should still be runny in the middle. Stir together. Ready to serve. I like to add 2 tbsp of fat free whipped cream to it too.
