Mine:
- 1 soft-boiled egg
- 1/2 cup asparagus
- a tiny piece of whole wheat bread (0.25 of a small roll)
Calories: 104
Carbs: 6 g
Fat: 5 g
Protein: 8 g
Fiber: 1 g
Iron: 14% DV
I boil the water and chuck the asparagus and egg in at the same time; boil on high for 6 mins (on my stove). The soft yolk tastes like butter. A splash of lemon juice on the asparagus is nice.
Oatmeal's also filling.
Soup is nice, but often not filling enough
edit: other standbys are
1/2 cup cottage cheese (100 cals) + 6 grapes (10 cals)
2 Breton Wood crackers (45 cals) + 3/4 slice low-fat havarti (53 cals)

Awesome, thanks!
Hoping to compile a list of things that will definitely shut up my guts0 -
The only thing that comes even remotely close is a tablespoon of butter.
100 calories is SFA for the 6-foot-plus crowd....0 -

Lol. It's not a lot for 5'7s, eitherLooking to do something about that tiny little pang just before bed, when you need just a little top-off so you can sleep, kind of thing.

Yeah I'm 5,8" so it's pretty hard to find things with that low of a calorie count to satisfy me but sometimes it was all I could fit into the day. I usually go for 200c snacks (a piece of fruit with almond butter and chia seeds.)
A bowl of miso and a mug (or 2) of hot tea really helped me stay full many times, and it was super easy to fit 10 calories in, so I usually splurge and throw in another 10c of seaweed.0 -

That sounds delicious. I usually only have miso when I'm out - this is going on my list!0 -
100 calories would not be enough to fill me up. Maybe for 30 minutes. I prefer to eat large meals, and if I were to snack it has to be at least 200-300 calories. None of what has been mentioned is filling to me in these quantities0
-
yeah, it's really just to take the edge off for long enough to sleep0
-
The only thing that fills me up for 100 calories is baby carrots. And it's a LOT of baby carrots.0
-
Hot chocolate, i love the warm belly feeling. Makes me feel cozy without having to actually eat anything. My daughter likes warm milk with a splash of vanilla. Both could easily be under 100 calories depending on how much you make. Not "filling" but really satisfying at times.0
-
Popcorn. It keeps me occupied long enough to forget I was hungry since I eat it one kernel at a time.0

Wasabi flavored roasted edemame0

100 calories worth of milk
for 140 calories I like a skinny grande carmel macchiato… super hot0 -

3/4 c almond milk and 1T Ovaltine (80c)
1 small apple cut up with 1 oz fresh mozzarella (120 c)
1/2 c nonfat cottage cheese with a fresh garden tomato when they're in season or some homemade ranchero sauce if they're not (120c)
two large carrots (60c)
Popcorn with sriracha

I love to make a little Asian salad for either a side dish or snack. It is actually under 50 calories. It takes a while to eat (all that crunching and chewing is quite satisfying) and it is very filling.
7 radishes & 2 stalks celery Slice very thin (I use a mandolin. Quick & easy--watch your fingers!)
1 T plain rice vinegar
1/2 t sesame oil
salt to taste
Toss with dressing about 15-30 minutes before you want to eat it.0 -
4 big carrots, or
a medium sized baked potato,or
a big banana,or
a million sticks of celery or
3 rice cakes.0 -
carrots and 1 tbsp. of hummus, two apple cinnamon rice cakes and one wedge of swiss laughing cow cheese (okay, so it's 135 calories)0
-
Why do snacks have to be restricted to 100 calories? That's too low, imo. A snack for me is at least 200 cals, but usually 250-300. Just had my afternoon snack and it was 1 slice of multi-grain gluten-free bread w/ almond butter, an orange, and a cup of coffee.0

Fruits
Veggies
Hot dog and beans
Rice cake with cheese and a few little diced tomatos (fake pizza, lol)
Cottage cheese
Nature Valley crunchy granola bar (so filling!)
Salsa with low-cal chips (or lettuce)
An egg0 -
If I get hungry at bedtime I usually just have an apple and go straight to bed, or if I'm only a little hungry I'll just have a clementine.0
-
4 cups of microwave popcorn

tuna or egg (75) salad with lots of celery & lowfat mayo (30 cal) on a wasa light rye (30 cal) - in the 120 - 150 range..
-
Diet Hot Chocolate also is a great filler upper 25 cals
Bariatric Oatmeal - 15 grams of protein 100 calories - doesn't taste too great but sticks to the belly!0 -

This sounds delicious0 -
You said most filling, not tastiest, right? 3 oz of grilled chicken. VERY filling, low-cal, high protein.0

I did - I think that'll work!0 -

Tillamook Cheddar Cheese snack 3/4 oz - only 90calories0
-
1 serving of smoked Gouda cheese, (100 calories) and 5-10 slices of cucumber with hot sauce (my favorite is Valentina sauce, but Tapatio will do it). It's filling because of the cheese, and because of the hot sauce. Drink 8 oz of water with it.0
