Hi all newbie here so be nice
I decided I was going to start losing weight about 3 months ago starting off at 17 stone + 5 lbs there about im 5'10. Always been fairly stocky.
Anyway I was losing weight well and at slow pace eating around 1500 calories sunday-friday and doing what I wanted on saturdays. I started at the gym about a month ago I dropped to 14.10 stone about 10 days ago, I then started taking creatine to help with my workouts. Now I havn't shifted any more weight at all but I have made gains with my lifting.
Now what I think/pray is happening is that im replacing fat with muscle but I really don't know. Should I drop the creatine again and carry on as before or keep going and try exercise more im going every 2nd day.
I've got my 2nd personal training session tomorrow so will see what he thinks?
Any advice much appreciated and be nice:twisted:

Just keep going and forget the day to day stuff. If you continue to not lose weight and I don't mean after a day or two it's more than likely a math error in the amount of food your eating.0

How accurate is your calorie counting because if you you are eating 1500 cals. a day when in actuality you are 1700 a day. That could mean an additional 1000 more a week and then add your cheat days. Boom!0

Yeah, the only way you can keep your deficit and still eat heavier on Saturdays is if you go a bit under all week and bank extra calories for the weekend. Otherwise you are wiping out most of the week's deficit by going over, even if it's just for a single day. You should still log your cheat days so you know where you stand calorie wise for the week.0 -

This. If you truly want a high-calorie day instead of just eating reasonably all week, then calculate your estimated maintenance needs and subtract 20%. That's your average daily deficit needs. Then multiply that number by 7 to know your weekly deficit intake, and then arrange your weekly calories as you'd like so that you are still eating that weekly amount.
Also you are likely retaining water right now.0 -
If you loaded creatine too, you gained some water weight. Probably 5 lbs, which will come off once you stop the creatine.0
