Having to climb up things and do yoga poses, just to find a bar or 2 (3 if you're lucky) on your cellphone.

Uhhhhh, my "old days" was a rotary phone on the kitchen wall with a 50 foot stretched out coil cord.

I miss good Saturday morning cartoons. And, PeeWee's Playhouse!

Not caring about the choice in foods or drinks. The amounts or duration of them.
.. I miss that but I don't miss so many symptoms of that.

My old summer cottage and always walking around barefoot
When Third Eye Blind was a new band
Getting summers off when I was in school (totally took that one for granted)
    N64 games
Many other things... I'm feeling nostalgic all of a sudden *sigh*

Being able to go play an entire football game or similar and be no worse for the wear later that day and the next regardless of whether or not I stretched afterwards.

Now if I walk around the block with the dog I feel like I need to spend about 20 minutes with the foam roller to recover.

Also, I miss the all you can eat pancake dinners my mom always took me to after games and after track meets...those were the days.

how old are these days we're talking about?

I vaguely miss coming home from work or a party and checking my answering machine for new messages.

I loved the dinners on nights I had a volleyball game or track meet... We always went to a local diner and shared banana splits afterwards. Pancakes for dinner is the best!

I look forward to missing this some day.

Most of the other replies on here make me feel very old.

Playing sports all day long, never getting tired, and being able to hit the club all night...then get up and do it again without missing a beat.

Having to tape a penny to the top of the tone arm when the needle started to get dull so it wouldn't skip on the vinyl.

The excitement I felt as a kid waiting for my favorite shows to play one right after another in syndication: The Incredible Hulk, Wonder Woman, and The Bionic Woman.

The excitement and wonder of Christmas through a child's eyes.

The expanse of starlit sky over the home I grew up in.

In the late 90s, Getting excited to watch the newest episodes on the TGIF lineup (Sabrina, the Teenage Witch especially!) with my family every week. It was before DVRs so we either had to set the VCR to tape it ahead of time or rush home from wherever we were.

I remember we were actually at a wedding reception one Friday evening and my mother was telling the bride we had to leave early and was saying goodbye. The bride actually said, "You guys are rushing home to catch "Sabrina" aren't you? I don't blame you!" haha I have a lot of fond childhood memories surrounding that show...
