Best low/no carb bread?

and yes- ultimately everyone loses weight by a calorie deficit- how you chose to ACHIEVE a calorie deficit will vary significantly from person to person.

Beat me to it. The only carb-free "breads" I know of are made from foods that aren't typically used as "bread", such as lettuce (or any leafy green for that matter), sliced meats, or sliced veggies. Though the veggies are carbs, they aren't made of flour so shouldn't fall into your "bad" category.

Yeahbut - white bread is usually lower calorie than whole grain breads, and therefore better for weight loss ..

you know what's amusing to me- often more times than not- the more you try to get a reasonable 'sub' in for a standard product- the more processed it becomes- and the further away from the original intent of the quest was.
