Too skinny?

Hi there myfitnesspal community!!
I've actually been counting calories and losing weight for over two years and I've currently lost 30 kilos. I was originally 73kilos now I'm down to 43 kilos. My body stats are:
weight 43 kg
height 148cm
waist 63cm
hips 79cm
neck 32 cm
thigh 48cm
forearm 20 cm
bicep 24 cm
I've been recently getting comments that I'm too skinny and that I need to gain weight... Is that really true? Am I that skinny? Or should I ignore those people?

As an American, all those measurements are gibberish to me and I'm too lazy to do the calculations required to convert them. What I can tell you is that your BMI is 19.6 putting you in the "Normal" weight range. Underweight is anything less than 18.5 meaning you'd have to lose another 2.5 kilos to be in that range. You're fine.0

If I have converted correctly, your weight is 94 pounds and height is around 4'8". I don't think your under weight but your not anything close to being over weight either.0

I think that as the population as a whole grows larger and obesity rates rise, people's perception of what is "too skinny" increases.
With a BMI of 19.6, you are within the healthy range for your height. How do you feel? If you have enough strength and energy and feel well, there is no reason to be concerned where in the normal range you fall. If you fall below 18.5, or if you feel compelled to restrict calories and lose weight even at a low-normal weight, I think you need to be concerned, but barring that, I wouldn't worry.
If you are still concerned, you can always check with your doctor.

I'm 150cm and 45.5 kg so if anything you're in the normal weight area based on your height. It really doesn't matter what people say though, especially when you lose so much weight, it's like you're brand new and people were just so used to how you looked before that they're probably just amazed now.0

At your weight and height, I wouldn't say too skinny, but I would say you don't need to.lose more. Way to go!

Are you feeling healthy? That is the true question. You are not too skinny0

If you still feel flabby, add exercise to build up your muscles.0 -
43kg sounds low, but it's probably fine for your height. If you're happy with yourself and your body, just ignore those who feel like they need to comment on your body. If you don't feel healthy, I'd say focus on building muscle and/or lowering your body fat % instead of losing weight regardless of where it comes from. By the way, congrats on the 30 kilos! (I'm 25cm taller than you, so your starting weight is pretty close to my goal weight... )0

Sounds like you're fine, and as has been said, maybe focus on doing some strength training to build some muscle.
You say you were 73kg before, which on 4'8 probably does really show, so people are probably comparing you to before when they say you're too skinny.0 -
Thanks guys for all the helpful comments and tips I shall try strength training- I am pretty weak in terms of strength.0
