How did you fare during the holidays?

Did you stay on track with your counting? Did you fall off the wagon a bit? were you able to keep losing/maintain/or gain?

I fell off the wagon a bit and it sucked. Somehow I forgot to log in one day and it reset my streak counter from 184 back down to 0. it really sucked b/c it was a streak I was proud of. After that it was hard to find the drive to start over again - the 12 days of Christmas at work (there were goodies every friggen day) didn't help nor did all the gifts of chocolates from my co-workers.

But I can't complain. I started this trip to a healthier me in mid-May and am down 22 pounds from mid May to the end of November and I was able to maintain during the holidays (at least I didn't gain). I wish the pounds came off faster in that time but I haven't put any more back on. Oh well... at least I am half way there and it is half way closer than I was this time last year!

Didn't log, but maintained weight wise! Fitness dropped as I've had the flu for 2 weeks, so my endurance is shot. Happy to have stayed the same weight even without training!

I will find out tomorrow as much as I dread stepping on that scale. I have logged my food for the most part but do think I may see a gain tomorrow. I went for an almost weeklong trip to my partners family's home. It was filled with fun, food, stress, beach walking/running but no gym. I miss my normal food, my normal routines and petting my kitties. Anyhoo...thank the States that the holiday season is OVER. ;)

I know I've gained because I always do between Thanksgiving-Christmas. A nibble here, a nibble there.....Then I got sniffly and not feeling well (so no walks for me, unless really necessary).

But it's hard for me to adjust to the holidays being over and it being a new year.

Didn't log the week of Christmas, but apparently I didn't go much over either because I lost more than what I put on by Tuesday.

I pretty much stopped logging after Halloween, and after Thanksgiving, stopped exercising regularly and didn't do well with healthy eating. I'm pretty disappointed in how I handled the holidays, but I also know that I worked hard to lose 15 lbs earlier in the year, and I can lose the 5 lbs that I gained back. I just need to get back on track. I'm not doing well again today, but at least I've started logging again, which reminds me what kind of foods I can and can't eat. It's a start! And tomorrow is another day.
