What is a realistic goal to set for 5 months? In a perfect world I would want to lose about 50 pounds by my birthday in June.

It honestly depends on how overweight you are. I'm sure someone will be along to post the chart for how much you should aim to lose in week based on how many lbs you want to lose.0

I am about 2850

So you can likely lose about lbs a week which would be 40 lbs in 5 months.0 -
50 lbs in five months is doable, especially for someone who is so heavy.0

Yeah I think you could likely do that. I had a lower starting point (202.5) at this time last year and lost 39.8 by June 15. With your start weight I think you could do it without being overly restrictive.0

To hit that goal you'll have to be meticulous about weighing and logging food.0

I lose about 10 lbs a month. It's realistic. In June, I started at 313 lbs. Now I'm at 229 lbs.
84 lbs lost in 7 months.0
