    I'm in! In May 2012, I weighed in at 165lbs, at my highest (normally I hovered around the 140lbs mark, without exercise or really watching what I ate). At that point, I joined MFP, changed my eating habits and added running to my day to day (walking to/from work if I didn't get the run in).

    By Auguest 2012 I had lost 20lbs. By October 2012, I dropped another 15lbs to 130 lbs! It had been awhile since I had seen that number on my scale. Not since my early twenties (I'm 34 now).

    After a year of maintaining 130lbs, I started to see the numbers slowly creep up again, starting in November 2013, when I found out I was pregnant. Sadly, I lost the baby in December, which was devastating. And watched the scale creep up a little more.

    Since then, after a number of a major life changes, my day to day routine changed and my life became extremely sedentary with plenty bad habits. I'm now at 147lbs and in fear of letting my weight hit the 150lbs mark again.

    So I'm using as 2015 as my kickoff to reintroduce running, balanced meals, and new habits (as well as eliminate old habits) with an ultimate goal of not just getting back down to 130 lbs, but to adopt a well rounded healthy lifestyle, improving my health and overall physique. I'm looking for a drop in inches and improvement of toning and tightening.

    I'm weighing myself tomorrow and will be back to post. I'm still within my maintenance range, but need to lose the 4lb I gained while healing from breaking a leg in October.

    Struggles or successes of your week: Just started yesterday & am amazed by how hungry I already am :). But I'm determined to lose enough to be able to fit into all the nice clothes that are hanging in my closet that I haven't been able to wear for a few years. Also need to bring down my blood pressure & cholesterol.

    Loss/gain for the week:Actually really started on 12/27 after coming back from vacation and toping the scale over 160 for the first time, so have lost 5 pounds already, though I know much of that was fluctuation weight and easy to come off, but still never, ever want to tip the scale over 160 again.

    Struggles or successes of your week: Have vastly reduced my wine consumption, and only had one glass last night because I was under for my daily calorie count. Love wine, but just need to keep telling myself that those empty liquid calories are not doing me any good!!!
