Hello all out of shape and over weight is painful at 59

its true that extra weight and out of shape equals pain as we age. so time to do something about it. Now I just need a plan so here is where I come to develop or copy a plan

    I hit that point at 43!! That is why I am here. I used this a few years ago, lost about 65-70 pounds, then gained it back after starting school and dropping all my healthy attitudes and going back to my old ways. I am back, day 10 of logging. great site!! Best of luck!!! stick with it.

    food is 80% of the equation, so use this app and you will be on your way and remember it is not a diet, it is a lifestyle change starting TODAY! Make it a year of action!

    I know (age 60)! My feet hate carrying this much weight around. I have to be careful about exercise, too. I started yoga about three weeks ago; went to classes for one week and my left knee was so painful I had to stop. It took two weeks to recover. Hopefully I can try again after I lose some of this fat and improve my fitness through things like walking, bicycling, and the elliptical, also weight training on the machines at the gym.

    Of course calorie control is the key to weight loss. I am doing my best to weigh everything that goes into my mouth and log it here.
