Is anyone else doing Shaun T's T25 workout? I just started and I'm not sure the best way to log it in my exercises? How is anyone else doing it? Any tips are greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

I would suggest getting yourself a heart rate monitor so that you can more accurately track the calories burned. I have a Polar FT4 and it works great. For me, I burn anywhere between 200-350 calories depending on which disc I'm doing of T25. But calories burned will vary for each person because of height, weight, heart rate, etc. When I first started MFP, I used the activity tracker and selected circuit training (general) but once I got my HRM, I realized that MFP grossly overestimates calories burned.

Just started a group specifically for those of us doing T25 - keep us motivated and on track. Feel free to join in!

I record it as circuit training and minus 50 calories from what MFP says, I think it's well over estimated as well. I bough a heart rate monitor watch and it must be junk because it says I only burn a little over 100 calories.

Depending on which disc it is, my HR monitor says I burn between 250 and 450 calories per workout. Since that's such a large range, I'd get a HR monitor for yourself to see.

if you use a heart rate monitor, you can create your own exercises, label them as you wish and add your calories burned.

HRMs aren't designed for these kind of training scenarios. Your prior approach seems more sensible anyway.

I just log it as circuit training 25 mins. But if MFP overestimate calories burnt I might only log 20 minutes to be on the safe side.
