1/2-3/4 is in fruit I eat and the rest is scattered through my food, an example is I have 1/4 tspn of honey in my tea in the morning, maybe soy sauce in dinner etc (I'm not the only one in the house that cooks so can't really be helped. Anyway I want to know how much of an effect this will have on my weight loss? Thanks

I'm always over because of fruit. I track fiber instead.
If you are within your calories it won't affect your weight loss a bit.

Unless you have a medical condition that warrants tracking your sugar, then I wouldn't worry about it. I go over my sugar limit nearly everyday due to fruit.
Do a search on here, there are oodles of posts about this very thing!

And no, it won't affect your weight loss. Watch your calories.
  • Thank you appreciate the comments. I was going to do a search on here but I am on my phone and couldn't figure it how haha I had seen threads on sugar but of course couldn't remember what was said.

Those threads usually get quite heated! Set aside a good few hours if you're planning on reading them lol

Only worry about the sugar if it is an issue for you personally. Some people chose to change out what is in their journal screen to a nutrient they are more interested in, like fiber, or iron.

The fruit always put me over on sugar as well. Never hurt, though.
