Hello everyone, I am on Day 3 of the above and feel really tearful! Is there anyone out there who is doing a similar diet who can share experiences with me - and keep me reaching for a glass of wine! Rachel

Isn't this the one that's a very low calorie plan? I'd say reach for the glass of wine and read the links below on what you can do to lose weight and not eat dangerously low.

Hi Rachael, I also tried this diet with no success. On day 4 started fainting and had to introduce proper food onto my diet to go to 1000 cals per day. Now I'm doing that combined with excerise without the hefty £45 per week. I do know that it does help people initially but can be difficult until after around day 5 when ketosis has kicked in. Good luck xx0

I have been in this diet for two weeks now and have lost 9lbs. The first four days are the hardest. I am finding it easy to stick too now.0

I love the cambridge diet I have been on and off MFP since 2011 I'm now using it in conjunction with the cambridge diet and it's great I have lost in over 1 stone in 4 weeks. Its the first time i have done a diet like this. Although I did not find the diet hard and had no carb cravings I did however get emotional and teary. I was told it was a chemical reactions of carb withdrawal lol
I never forgave myself for being a fat bride...but I want to be Bikini ready for my anniversary in July!0 -
I had the "low carb flu" on about day 4 of the Dukan Diet, but quickly overcame it when I started Phase II on the 5th day. I counted calories the whole time and rarely was under 1250. Now my pure protein days are my best days.0

Yep. It has plans from 415 calories a day up to 1,500.0 -
Did this for a while ages ago - lost three stone in what felt like seconds but put it all back on again almost as quickly. It was hell on earth! Felt too tired to exercise, became forgetful, skin went dry and when I got a simple cold it made me so ill I took a week off work. Never again!0

I am on the Cambridge diet and i love it. It is hard work to start with but you do get over the feeling crap. I have lost 17lbs now and i am still going. Yes i have off days but that's just life, you need to just get back on it the next day. Having tried every diet under the sun, this one works but only if you fallow the plan up to step 5 to maintain. Add me as a friend if you like. I will encourage you! x0

I started it on Saturday, so am on day 3
It's tough but the weight is coming off & I need to see decent losses quickly or I lose heart. Got my first weigh in on Thursday
I want to shift 2 stone so am happy to do this diet for a few weeks to get started0
