What are the best underwear to wear to work out in?

If you don't like thongs, try simply perfect by Warners (sold at target). They are full butt panties that don't ride on me and are always comfy. The only bummer is they totally give you a VPL with tights. For shorts, or looser workout bottoms I don't have an issue.0

I prefer thongs when working out in compression pants/capris and found some awesome ones at Walmart online - "Best Fitting - Seamless Thong Panties, 3-Pack" for $11.88. I don't even notice them but they give that extra layer so I don't feel too naked. Also, another vote for commando for running shorts with the built-in undies.0

I wear granny panties and pull them up over my stomach for flab support0

None. Seriously.0

great big granny pants are the way to go! I tell you, no VPL cause theyre so big and the cotton just soaks up the sweat. I never leave the house without them0

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT GYM YOU GO TO!
Just general stuff is all I need to know. Like:
1) Gym name.
2) Gym address.
3) Hours you're there.
4) Where you sit (for seat sniffing later, of course).
You won't even know I'm there I promise! I'll just hide behind the abductor machine
You'd probably want to be in front of the abductor machine for the best view

Okay - sounds good. Want to grab something to eat after? I've been really craving a veggie pie plate.
You got it!
You sellin' those cottons on craigslist or can we just work out an in-person deal after the gym?
I assumed you'd want to meet at the gym... You know these things go stale right quick.0 -
True. I want all the sweat. I'll bring a ziploc bag to transport them home in.0
-
Wow, so many of you have said commando! I guess I should try this. I've always just worn my regular underwear.0
-
My husband gave me a bunch of Under Armour panties I really like. The only downside is they're one size fits all, and a few reviews have said that's not really true. They fit me well when I was a 6, and I think still fit well at a 4.0
-
Commando all the way... anything else causes chafing. Body Glide does do wonders for long workouts. Besides, who wants panty lines showing while working out?0
-
I like cotton undies in a boyshorts/girly boxer style. This way I don't get a wedgie. Then a sports bra.0
-
My favorite workout shorts are the ones with a light underwear-like liner integrated into it. Otherwise, boxer-briefs that are a cotton/polyester / spandex blend.0
-
If you get good running tights/leggings to workout in, there should be a liner built in, hence no need for underwear, and they won't be see thru.0
-
Mine. Everytime I wear my wife's underwear to the Gym, I get funny looks in the locker room.0
-
Icebreaker brand merino underwear. They are light, wicking and super comfy!0
-
OMG! I love some of these answers! I'm laughing so hard at my desk! people think I'm nuts! At least I'm burning calories too!0
-
Since I'm a guy, I just tried out Saxx boxers and they are amazing but expensive...but they've got a pouch for your junk ha0

That appears to be Canadian currency. I only take American Dollars. And Yen. [/quote]
As long as you can buy a beer with it , you know you don't care! Now about them panties??

ExOfficio's travel undies! (The ones that advertise something awful sounding like "4 countries, 21 days, and 1 pair of underwear") Comfortable, wicking, they don't ride up, and are also treated to be anti-odor.0
-
As a runner, I say never cotton. Cotton holds moisture and causes chafing. Chafing causes the end of workouts.0
-
this guys point of view.... Boxer briefs.0
-
Commando... Period.0
-
Wow! It never occurred to me to workout without undies. I must try!0
-
My female dr actually told me commando is the best. Thongs with heavy activity can breed bacteria close to the you know what. And she said said go sans undies, cause thongs are all I wear.0
-
Full booty, seamless. Thongs hurt sometimes!0
-
definitely commando

I'm at the gym now should I take a poll, or do you think that will be frowned upon0
-
Depends, how are you going to conduct your poll...by sight, by feel, or by asking random women what panties they are wearing? Good luck and let us know how you get on.0
