towards your daily water goal? I just had 10oz of water in my protein shake. Should I count it? Or no?

I don't count it. I only count beverages that have no caffeine and no calories in my daily water goal.

I was wondering the same thing. I do count the water in my Crystal Light (but the whole reason I drink that is to help up my water), but so far not soda or any other beverage.

Yeap. I count any liquid I drink as part of my water....including tea, juice, milk, protein shake, etc.

A friend of mine told me that water only does what it's supposed to when consumed by itself. (an added lemon or something is fine)... but she said that Koolaid or anything with water makes it so the body doesn't consume it the way water is needed for the body. So from what she explained to me, I'd only count water if water if it has been consumed in it's pure form.
