Goals Besides "Getting Really Skinny"?

I am so struggling with setting myself a challenging and interesting goal, besides fitting into my skinny jeans. It's always there, but then there are times when I say,"So what? Who cares if I can fit into my skinny jeans or not?"
I used to compete in taekwondo, which kept me really fit, but I can't do that anymore. I've done 5ks, 10ks, and 1/2 maras, but I am just not a runner. My coworker thinks I should compete in a fitness competition, but I really don't like drawing attention to myself and wouldn't be able to get on stage. Plus, I don't think I could afford it.
Any suggestions or does anyone have any cool goals they would like to share?

Mine are:
- Bring my mile down to 40 minutes in the pool.
- Complete Son of a Swim at Lake Memphremagog
- Swim from King Neptune's statue to the 14th St Pier in VA Beach a couple of times over the family vacation
- Swim the Boston Sharkfest
- If I do REALLY well, swim 300 miles this year. (That may be more of a pipe dream, though, slow as I am)

Hike Mount Whitney and Rim to Rim Grand Canyon are my two goals.0

I have lots of fitness goals for the upcoming year:
To be able to run a 5k without walking, to be able to complete guy pushups, to complete 12 weeks of kettlebell training, to complete 12 weeks of the 5x5 program (more of a summer goal), to hike and kayak this summer without getting winded (losing weight to be able to fit comfortably in the kayak is a big goal), to get in shape to be able to run with my new puppy, and riding my bike up and down hills without issues.0 -

What can work is taking an intrinsic approach that takes away the emotional side of the scale and the fit of clothes. What that means is that you would progressively work towards different tangible goals. For instance it can be a number of pushups, walking at a faster pace, or whatever you choose. Something like a burpee challenge is something totally different than running. If one is efficient at an exercise the less results you will get from it. There are many ways to skin a cat.0 -
This years fitness goals include;
Sub 24min 5k
First ever 10K
Raise the distances I enter on sportives from the medium route (usually about 85miles) the the long routes (usually around 105m)
Compete in 2 sprint duathlons minimum
Get my swimming up to scratch so next year I can enter triathlons
Do a coast 2 coast cycle ride (either road or mtb, haven’t decided yet)0 -
1 - reverse all of my bad blood work (accomplished)
2 - Get off all meds (Partially complete...still on my hypertension meds...may not be achievable as it would appear that my condition is may not be fixable through diet and exercise and is more hereditary.
3 - Complete a full century (I've done a couple 1/2 century rides)
4 - Power Clean 1.25X my body weight (long way to go)
5 - Snatch my BW (long way to go)
6 - reach 15% BF (accomplished)
7 - reach 10% BF (working on it)
I have no desire to get really skinny...0 -
Ride my recumbent trike 30 miles.
Reach my weight loss goal by July.

- Bench press my own weight
- Do a set of unassisted full body weight pull-ups
- Do a set of unassisted full body weight dips
(for the last two, I'm working my way there via an assisted pull-up/dip machine)0 -

I have zero desire to get skinny, let alone "really skinny". My fitness goals:
Get blood pressure and blood cholesterol levels normal (accomplished, but still a lifelong goal to maintain this). Just had to get off my butt and move it, and slightly modify my food choices to be mindful of sodium intake and whatnot.
I do body weight training, so I'm aiming for pistol squats sometime this year and full "proper" pull ups. Full push ups accomplished last year, so I'm going for one-armed ones with feet elevated this year (on going progress).
I LOVE to walk/hike/jog, so I'm going to hit 4 million Fitbit steps this year.
Sub-25% BF (accomplished)
New BF goal: 21% (no deadline, maybe this year, but no rush)0 -
Sub 26 minute 5K
300 consecutive body weight squats.
Jog 1000 miles this year.

I'm sorta with cwolfman - I want to get healthy - have some bad results on bloodwork and it's past time to make lifestyle changes. sure I'd like to look better but no desire to be skinny - just healthy. my goals to reach this right now are to eat better (track here, cook more at home and make better choices when I eat out (or at least KNOW and ENJOY something that may not be the best choice and treat it as an occasional treat not a regular meal), be very involved in a Bible study/healthy lifestyle group that meets at my church, add in exercise at least 5x a week - I aim for every day but I don't beat myself up if I only have time for a 1mile Leslie 'walk' since I work 12 hr rotating shifts and often have overtime.Im doing what I can but am determined not to keep allowing my shift to be my excuse to make myself sick. I also want to increase flexibility. the way I feel and my lab results should let me know if I"m on target (along with weighins but if I don't feel better then what's the point...)
longer term goals I would like to maybe do some of these fun marathon/charity walks - don't see myself ever running but hey you never know.0 -

I don't want to get skinny. Most of my personal goals revolved around yoga poses and endurance things like push ups and jumping jacks - stuff like that.
I wanna do this:

And I just managed this:
