C25K + step ups?

Alright folks, I am Out. Of. Shape. My pre pregnancy weight was 243 lbs, my current weight is 199 lbs. I am thrilled with my loss so far and really want to keep it going but here's the situation: My baby was just born 13 days ago. I would like to do the C25k program, but I don't really have the time to get out of the house right now, it's getting too cold to take a baby out so I can do a road side jog, can't make it to a gym, I don't have an MP3 player, or a smart phone or a treadmill at home, so what I'm wondering, is could I maybe combine doing the C25K with doing step ups instead of actually jogging? I find it would be much easier for me to do this at home and just use a stop watch. Realistically though, do you think this would be as beneficial?
