Just make sure you are following your doctor's orders above all... did the doc give you a specific diet or refer you to a nutritionist?0

Yep, let us know what your doc. has said regarding diet. If you are going to track your food, here's how to get started:
Click Goals > Change Goals > Guided, Continue, enter in your accurate information and realistic goal weight, and click Update Profile. MFP will give you good information on how many calories you should eat each day to safely lose weight.

I really feel for you, that must have been such an ordeal to have to go through.. So well done for making these steps to change!
I wish I had a Vitamix, they look great. I have a Nutribullet, so I will join you in starting to have more fruit/green smoothies. I would really feel so great when I'd have one, such a great way to get nutrition.0 -
I also have a vitamix but do not utilize it as much as I should. So if you come a cross some good low calorie meals let me know.0

The Doc just says I need to loose 125 lbs, I will be seeing him again this Thur.
Last night I made a left over chicken Vitamix soup it was very tasty. 1cup water .75cup 2% milk, 1-14oz soup stock, 1-shallot, (the leftover was 2 white chicken tenders, sliced mushrooms cream sauce over .5cup homemade noodles). It was around 305 calories per cup.
so far since starting this adventure I have lost 8.4 lbs0
