Guys - am I too shoulder muscle-y?

I'm looking to drop weight (about 25lbs) regardless of the responses here, but I'm just wondering... men, how much muscle do you think is too much muscle on a chick? I used to weight lift a lot, and stopped about two months ago because I felt I was getting too bulky. I used to catch guys looking at me at the gym, especially during dumbbell military presses, and I can't tell if they were impressed or grossed out. I lifted again tonight just for hahas (sooooo much weaker) and then was inspired to take a poll.
I'm currently 5'5" and 154lbs. I think my body looks best between 128-134lbs so that's my goal.
Anyway, I'm curious what the men think of my current muscular status.
Please disregard my flabdomen. I just ate dinner... it was about 52,000 calories too much.

How much muscle is too much depends entirely on what you want. If a guy thinks it looks bad, but you like how you look then he isn't worth your time. Every guy out there has their own opinion. Some will like muscles and others don't. Do not, for even one moment, worry about what someone else thinks about how you look.0

I have muscle-y shoulders and I think they're one of my best features. Do what makes you happy and healthy and don't worry about what others may be thinking.0

Look through my pictures. I'm a competitive female bodybuilder. I get lots of complements on my body and above all I feel great. I've been called manly as well, but not by anyone that mattered. I like how I look and I like how I feel, that is what matters.0 -

Long term slight calorie deficit and heavy lifting. It just takes time and hard work. I hire a personal trainer to help with competition prep because it's nice to have accountability.0 -
@OP - I believe once you reduce your BF%, you will be very pleased with the muscle underneath. For reference, I am almost 5'9" and 155 lbs and my shoulders and back are some of my proudest features:

Well I'm not a guy but my son makes fun on my "dude" arms. I'm tiny and just want definition, not really lots of muscle. I do like feeling strong and LOVE the feeling of my muscles swelling when I start to lift. . Who cares what anyone else thinks!0

Honestly, I actually like being muscular, but I'd like to work toward decreasing the body fat and getting super toned. When I did all that weight lifting, I ate a lot of protein, but I didn't track calories. Maybe I'll try heavy lifting with calorie deficit like you suggest... that could get me to where I'd like to be. Thanks!!0 -
I want some muscle, us women need to show how strong we are/can be and I aim to start lifting as soon as I lose some body fat x0

You look great. I'm sure your muscles and tattoos won't be to everyone's tastes, but then neither would a softer body with tattoos. Do whatever you enjoy.

If I'm being honest, I would have to wait till you lost a bit more BF before making a preference call on your shoulders. You should do what makes you happy though, not this guy.0
