I don't have much of an appetite throughout the day but when bedtime hits I'm starving.

Sooooo........eat at bedtime. There is no 'right' time to eat. Eat when you want.

There's nothing that says you have to eat at specific times of the day. But you do have to be careful that fasting all day will make you eat more than you should when you do finally eat. Eat a couple of small meals or snacks during the day and save your calories for the evening. As long as you are eating less calories than you burn you will lose weight, regardless of when you eat them.

What are "the right times", may I ask? There's no "wrong" time to eat, so eat whenever you want. You body doesn't know what time it is. Eat when you're hungry, and as long as you're staying within your cals, it won't interfere with your goals.

I don't know I've heard lots of different things like getting your protein earlier in the day and avoid eating close to bedtime. It's hard to know which advice to follow when it varies so much. I'm quite new to the nutrition part of getting fit

Ignore all of that. There have been plenty of studies which have proven that the time of day you eat makes absolutely no difference to weight loss.

The whole "don't eat close to bedtime" thing came about because it was determined that people who eat close to bedtime are usually overweight. The problem is, it didn't go on to say that by the time people are eating their evening snack in front of the TV they've already eaten their maintenance calories for the day so that snack is putting them over on calories! If you're staying within your calorie goal you can eat those calories at any time of day you like.

I didn't know that thank you! Seeing how I don't get hungry at all from the time I wake up to just about bed time, what should I do in l terms of getting my calories?

Frankly, I'd still suggest a small snack or two during the day. Even though you aren't feeling hungry your body still needs fuel especially if you're moving around. You might even try getting liquid calories if that seems more palatable to you. A protein shake around 10 or 11 am, perhaps. Avoid stuff that's just sugar like fruit juices, though.

For your evening meal eat whatever you like as long as it's within your calorie goal. You'll want to be sure you're actually getting enough calories as well as vitamins and minerals with that meal. Since it's the only real meal you'll be eating it should be good food and not 1500 calories of Big Mac and french fries. I took a peek at your diary and you seem to be on the right track with your food choices but just be cautious that you don't get full before you get your nutrition.

I definitely try to stay away from juice and pop. Water all day long! And I think the whole not being hungry thing is just a phase because I've always had a good appetite.

I get that. I go through phases like that from time to time myself.

I agree. The best time to eat is when you're hungry.
