    I once was leaving a parking garage, drove up to the window to pay the attendant, and sat there for a minute or two while he was asleep. His supervisor (I assume) was sitting behind him and he was sitting up so she couldn't really tell he was asleep (he was facing towards the window, so she couldn't see his eyes). After I sat there for a couple minutes and he did nothing (I didn't say anything), he woke up and took care of business. She got this odd look on her face as though she had figured out why it took him so long to react after I drove up.

    Personally, I felt bad for the guy. I'm sure he doesn't fall asleep intentionally... he might have had some medical issue or something. I have so many medical issues and there were times when I was a kid that I experienced similar situations. When I was in middle school, I would fall asleep in band class... while everyone around me was playing instruments. I think it was thyroid or something then. When I was even younger, I would fall asleep all the time because of anemia.
