Serving size of frozen foods

Options
Take for example a frozen food like spinach, broccoli, etc. that has a serving size of 25 grams (no specification of cooked or frozen). For foods like these that lose water when cooked, would the serving size be for its frozen measurement?

I'd assume that serving sizes for foods like this are based on their packaged weight. So yeah, weigh them frozen when you can.

It says on the packet what the calories are and whether its cooked or frozen. If it doesnt say, then its easy to get cooked or frozen estimates just by googling. They are such low calorie anyway. One portion is 80g for five/ seven a day terms.

Assume the weight is for the food as packaged unless it says otherwise.

Estimate the higher weight possibility and then giggle when you lose more than expected :triumph:

I weigh it frozen. Serving size is most likely based on the frozen weight.
