Hip tendonitis

how are you guys? Been to urgent care today , 3 days in a row this pain in my lower pelvic is bothering me. So i went to see a doctor and after some interviews and physical exams i was told that the pain is due to tendonitis. Anyone experiencing this? Or also having the same problem?

    Tendonitis is difficult to deal with. Do you have a specialist to see for rehab perhaps?

    I think I might. For a couple of days, my left hip was killing me. Went and got an anti inflammatory shot, and it got better. Now its stiff a lot of the time. Sitting and bending hurts a little.

    Have you tried shockwave therapy? i had tendonitis on my bicep and i was ok the following day after treatment (20 mins) I have found an article for you here: http://www.nuffieldcardiffandvale.com/shockwave-therapy-for-tendonitis/

    If they tell you to rest it, rest it. I didn't when I first had it (was on a hiking holiday) and ended up with ongoing pain for years. Pissed off tendons usually need a rest, anti-inflammatories, physio (exercises plus maybe u/s and perhaps that shockwave that inca is talking about) and sometimes a cortisone injection if all else fails.
